  7. Blessings to Dan on his further journey. I was honored to work with Dan in Camp Fire and appreciated his thoughtful participation and caring for the program and kids.

  8. While I was attending Concordia, I had the privilege of meeting Dan as while I was a student secretary in in the Co-op Ed/Continuing Ed department. That early employment experience was a blessing to me, and Dan’s easy manner and style made for a great environment to work in. You have my sympathy & my prayers.

  9. Kathy and Kenley,
We are so sorry to hear of your dad’s passing, Kathy. We wish there was something we could say or do to make things easier for you. We didn’t know your dad very well but I know how proud you were of him. We hope it helps to know that we care about each of you.

  10. I am very happy that I had an opportunity to know Dan over many years. We worked together many times, at professional conferences, workshops, and in consulting relationships in Cooperative Education. He honored me several times by inviting me to his campus to be directly involved with his co-op program. In all of my involvements with Dan I found him to be a gentleman, a solid professional, and a genuinely nice man. I considered him to be a good friend and a person who was a joy to be around. Over all the years he was a gift among us.

  11. My deepest sympathies to Dan’s family and friends. I so enjoyed working with Dan at Concordia College. I was the director of graphic design and facilitated the design and printing of the publications for Dan and his department. Our office also greatly benefited from the many student placements through the Cooperative Education program. May the Lord give you comfort as you grieve his death and may your hearts be filled with many enduring memories.

  12. I am saddened at Dan’s passing. He was a colleague in Cooperative Education for many years including his work with the program and staff and with the training center he ran for other professionals in the field. Over the years so many students and colleagues benefited from his commitment and dedication. Rest in peace Dan.

  13. Dear Mary Ann –

My sympathy to you and to your family on the loss of Dan. I am also sorry that I could not be there to attend the funeral, but delighted that Helen and Bob Selisker were able to be there. I will remember Dan at Mass this Sunday and will also continue to offer prayers for you and your family as you deal with the loss of Dan.
Brothers John, Joe and I will try to stop to see you this Fall when we visit North Dakota.
