My deepest sympathies to you all! Eddie was a truly inspirational man. From driving bus daily all those years teaching us right from wrong and encouraging us along the way, faithfully delivering the mail every day no matter the weather, giving grouse and pheasants a run for the lives, all his work and leadership at Redeemer Lutheran church and in the Community of McLaughlin and Corson County always trying to make things better while spending money wisely. I am hard pressed to think of another person in McLaughlin that was so involved, so active, so positive, so kind, so energetic and so unconditionally loving. I will always love, respect, and miss him. God Speed Eddie and may we meet again someday. Sincerely with Love and Prayers,
    Candice (Olson) and Bob Mizera

  22. Sending my sympathy and condolences to Sharon and the family. Sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved husband and father and grandfather. Yes I remember the high school days and when Sharon and Eddie got married and when it was Boy Scout leaders I do believe two of the boys were in Boy Scouts at the time . As I remember Eddie a very multitask person dedicated to helping others. Also remember back in the day when his wife Sharon was a waitress at the Jo Dee cafe When husband Smitty owned it.

  23. Just heard the news about “cousin” Eddie. I know my mother Elfreda always had a soft spot for him and would talk of him fondly. I also remember, even as a child, there was much laughter whenever we visited McLaughlin, and the few occasions Eddie came to the cities to visit. Condolences and blessings to the extended family and my other “cousins” Audrey and Darwin. May God keep you in the palm of his hand.

  24. To Sharon and family,
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your beloved husband, father and grandfather Eddie. I remember him fondly from visits in St. Paul many years ago. I know my mom really felt a tenderness toward Eddie, Audrey and Darwin. During this difficult period may you turn to happy memories of all you shared to console you during your time of mourning.

  25. Dear Sharon, Audrey, Darwin, and Families,

So sad to hear of Eddie’s passing! He was the best step-brother we could ask for! Always enjoyed his sense of humor! We all have lost touch over the years but think of you all often! My deepest sympathy to you all, will keep you in my prayers!

    God’s blessings!
