Eileen Lorenz

Eileen Mae Lorenz, 80, Fargo, ND passed away on September 9, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Eileen was born January 20, 1939 to Louie and Barbara Ave in Velva, ND. She was raised and educated in Sawyer, ND. Eileen married Roy Albin and together they had one child, Steven Roy Albin. Eileen married Thomas Whitfield and they lived in California for many years before returning to Minot, ND where she worked at St Josephs Hospital until she retired. Eileen married Marvin Lorenz and they made their home in Velva, ND. After Marvin passed away, she moved to Fargo, ND to be closer to her son and her grandchildren. Eileen enjoyed country music and dancing, but most of all she loved her family that included many brothers and sisters and always welcomed everyone into her home. Her greatest love was her son, Steve, he was the joy in her life from the time he was born and when her grandchildren came along, they added to her happiness. Eileen’s loving family includes her son, Steve (Kim), Moorhead, MN; Grandchildren Lacy (Dan), Shelly, MN; Jenny, Fargo; Steven Luke Fargo; Great Grandchildren Kasidee, Colter, Quinncy & Hadley; Great Grandson Greyson; brothers Melvin, California; Marvin (Jan), Arizona; Sisters Penny (Roy) California; Barbara Jane (Bobby) California; Darlene, Arizona; Sharon (Mark), Arizona; Marilyn (Steve) SD, Diane, ND, Sister-in-law Rose, Oregon; and many nieces and nephews. Eileen is preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin, brother William, sister Shirley. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
