  1. We are saddened to hear of Betty’s passing. She was so much fun to visit with at the lake. Our heart felt sympathies go out to you all. May she rest in peace.

  2. Betty Getz was my second mom. I had the privilege to spend the year of 66/67 in Grafton, with the Getz family, as a foreign exchange student.
In all these years we could re-meet several times. She and Linda attended my second wedding in Grafton in 2006. I was so pleased they were there. We met for lunch in Fargo last year with Doug and Betty and had a lot of fun.
I will never forget you mom !
Rick’s and my deepest feelings are with the Getz family and the Odegaard family.
    Betty and Rick Skaflen

  3. Liz,
this a sad time for us & I just can see ya, saying: Judy it’s Ok, things will be all-right, it’s just part of life. You were my mentor, my mom, my sister and most of all my best friend…best camper, coffee friend. I learned more from you about life, the ups and downs. when I talked to you last, that the last couple of years, we were having coffee with you & Bud at 9:30 am everyday on TV…5-days a week….And you laughed, when I told you that Ron would just smile and wave Hi to both of you on TV…
God Bless you girl for being you & how lucky we were to have you & Bud in our life’s…We Love YOU…
    Judy & Ron

  4. Linda and Ted:
Please receive my most heartfelt condolences on the passing of your mother.

  5. My best friend Betty, I will so much. I am so happy we celebrated our 70th high school class reunion last summer. It is hard to imagine a world without you, we have been friends for so long. My heart is broken at the loss of you. Doris “Do”.
