Elsie Hauck

Elsie A. Hauck, 94, West Fargo, ND passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Sheyenne Crossing Care Center, West Fargo under the care of Ethos Hospice.
Elsie was born North of New Leipzig, North Dakota on May 15, 1925, to Christ and Mary Schneider. Elsie married her high school sweetheart, Ben Hauck in 1943. Ben passed away in 1989. Ben and Elsie had two children, Roger (Fran Allery) and Elayne (Ken Kretz). Theirs was a family of love and they spent their entire lives as farmers near New Leipzig. Ben and Elsie never met anyone that could not be a friend. They were blessed with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a very large extended family, including special granddaughters and their families.
Elsie was a very good cook and baker, which a whole lot of people in New Leipzig area can attest to.
Friends never left the Haucks without experiencing good food and laughter.
A private family service will be held at Boulger Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, Fargo.
Burial will take place at Shady Hill Cemetery, Burt, ND in the Spring.

My memories of Elsie go back a long time ago while working at our local hospital. Elsie will always share a place in my heart for the loving ways she cared for her parents. Elsie was also very thankful and supportive of the staff that cared for her parents when they were hospitalized years ago. Rest in peace Elsie a good and faithful servant.
