Evangeline “Vangie” passed away on May 18, 2017 at the Eventide Lutheran Home in Moorhead, MN surrounded by her loving family.

Evangeline M. Krein was born on August 4, 1931, the daughter of Adolph and Anna (Sprenger) Krein, in Wishek, ND. She grew up in this area and graduated from Bismarck High School. Vangie was united in marriage to John C. Fandrich on September 11, 1949. Together they made their home in Bismarck where they raised their children. For the past few years, Vangie had made her home in Fargo at Trollwood Village apartments.

Vangie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. The grandkids all adored her and looked forward to her banana bread and gooey, caramel bars. Throughout her life she also loved spending her days playing bridge with family and friends.

Vangie is survived by her children – John Fandrich of Waukee, IA; Paulette Anderson of Bismarck, ND; and Brad (Mary) Fandrich of Fargo; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and two brothers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 11 AM Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center in Fargo

VISITATION: one hour prior to the service

BURIAL: Holy Cross North Cemetery in Fargo
