Everett B. Schumacher, 75, Fargo, ND passed away on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Sanford Health in Fargo. He was born Oct 22, 1939 at Aberdeen, SD to Philip A. and Eva (Ganje) Schumacher. He went to St. Mary’s school and graduated from Central High School in 1958. He attended Northern State University until enlisting into the U.S. Army. He served in Germany for two years, and served in the Army Reserves. Everett married Virginia Beadle on November 26th, 1966, at St. Mary’s Church in Aberdeen, SD. They had three children born to them. He was employed at McLaughlin Electric for a number of years. The family moved to Fargo in 1976. He worked as a purchasing agent for several companies in Fargo and retired from Ferguson Enterprises, in 2005. He was an avid golfer, and loved golfing at the Hawley Golf Club and in Arizona in the winter. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Virginia; sons, Darren, West Fargo; Brent (Heather) Saint Paul, MN; grandchildren Sawyer and Eva; brother, Wayne (Cheryl), Moorhead, MN; sisters, Bonnie Sumption, Delores (Doug) Sauer, Alice (William) Horneber; brother in law, Robert (Judy) Beadle and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant daughter, Laura. There will be a prayer service at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center at 8:00 pm Wednesday. The funeral mass will be at Nativity Catholic Church at 1:00 pm Thursday. Interment will be at Aberdeen, SD.

  3. Virginia, I am so sorry!! I really can’t believe it. I didn’t hear back from you on your birthday wishes and did wonder if things were ok. You know how much I love and care about you. I would be there except I am flying to Shauna’s on Fri. Sending so much love, and hugs to you. Will call soon.

  7. I visited with Everett whenever he came into Cashwise to get his morning cup of coffee. He was a very nice man, and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go to his family.

  8. Fritz and I were best friends through high school – had many good times together. Have thought about him frequently over the past 50 years and tried to contact him a couple of years ago. I’m so sad to learn of his passing.
