Frances Dewald

Frances Anne Dewald, age 71, died on Tuesday, November 2, 2005 at home at 705 13th Avenue North Apt. 212, Fargo, ND 58102. Frances Anne Kowalski was born on January 19, 1934 in Moorhead, MN to Andrew and Eva (Green) Kowalski. She attended school at St. Joseph?s in Moorhead, MN and graduated from Moorhead High School. She completed a degree at Dakota Business College and began working at Northern States Power as a cashier/bookkeeper. She married Edwin E. ?Emil? Dewald on September 10, 1955 at Grace Lutheran in Fargo, ND. They adopted Steven in 1961 and Karla in 1963 and Frances stayed at home in order to raise their family. She was a member of Peace Lutheran and active in many ways including the funeral committee. She is survived by her husband, Ed; children: Steven and Mary Dewald, Fargo, ND and Karla Hammar, St. Cloud, MN; six grandchildren; her siblings: Bernadette Vannatta, Moorhead, Andrew Jr. (Teresa), Fargo, ND, Charles (Dolly), Culver City, CA, Gerald, Sioux Falls, SD, and Gregory, Auburn, AL. The Funeral Service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND on Saturday, November 5, 2005 at 10:00 am. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2005 at Boulger Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm. Burial will follow at St. Joseph?s Cemetery in Moorhead, MN.
