Fred Ludemann passed away on Tuesday November 15th at his home in Moorhead MN, at the age of 65. Frederick Allen Ludemann was born February 20, 1951 in Barnesville, MN, the son of Joe and Marna (Barry) Ludemann. He grew up in the area and graduated from Barnesville High School. Fred married Cindy Goese in 1970 and they moved to Anoka, MN where he continued his education at Anoka Tech and later got his degree in Business Management from Wichita State. Fred join the Air Force and was stationed in Wichita, KS where he and Cindy moved to and lived for over 40 year. He spent many years in the Air Force where he did many things in the medical field. While in the Air Force he had a part time job with Learjet painting planes and was hired full time and worked for Learjet until he retired. Through out the years Fred was devoted to the church and was a long time member of The Central Christian Church in Wichita, KS. Fred moved to Moorhead, MN in 2016 and was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Fred loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed being a part of the big brother program. In his later years was an avid reader and always had a book in his hand. Fred is preceded in death by his wife Cindy (Goese) Ludemann; his parents Joe and Marna Ludemann; and a brother Dan Ludemann. Fred is survived by his brother Phil (Nancy) Ludemann of Spring Park, MN; Linda (Kurt) Bailey of Port Allen, LA; his two nephews Jeremy (Jen) Bailey; Josh (Nikki) Bailey and two nieces Amber (Brendan) Miller; Christy (Luke) Hukee; and 11 great nephews and nieces. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2 PM Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center in Fargo. VISITATION: one hour prior to the service in the funeral home on Wednesday

  1. Thinking about Fred and Cindy both and all of the memories from high school. Sad mer that they are both gone. Condolences to the family from a classmate, neighbor and friend .

  2. I worked with Fred for several years at Learjet in Wichita. I remember he was a valuable team player and everyone enjoyed his sense of humor.

  3. So sad to hear of Fred’s passing. We worked together many years at Learjet in the Quality group. He was a great guy and a good friend. My deepest sympathy to his family.
