Freda Leona Hager, 91, Fargo, ND passed away peacefully on October 7, 2018 at Sanford Health in Fargo. Freda was born February 2, 1927 in Pollock, South Dakota to Gottfried and Annette (Isaak) Siegle. She graduated from Pollock High School in 1944. She married Michael Hager on November 25, 1946 in Linton, ND and moved to Fargo in February of 1955. Preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years, Michael; daughter Annette; and siblings Adolph, Edna, Esther, Helen, Ruth, Martha, Ernestine, William, Lorraine and Robert. She is survived by her brother, Raymond Siegle; and two sons, Michael (Kathy) of Fargo and Dwight (Cynthia) of Edina MN; and grandchildren, Krista (Jeff) Kacerik, Andrea (Justin) Trush, Michael (Molissa) Hager, Lisa Hager, and Paul (Kerrie) Hager; and eight great-grandchildren. Freda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was proud of her German heritage and will always be remembered for her wonderful cooking and baking skills. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Freda’s memory to The American Heart Association. A memorial service will be held at 2PM on October 17, 2018 at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center, Fargo with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Fargo.
