  1. Fargo ND
I could not be more grateful for Freda’s open arms and loving friendship with my mother, Gladys Johnson. I know that my mom would be writing several chapters about their many “errands” (aka “shopping trips” they made together plus all the stories about Freda’s special treats that emerged from her oven – which the two of them shared with coffee in that famed yellow kitchen).

I am on my way to read these notes to my mother. I have no doubt that they’ll be sharing goodies and stories again soon.

They shared the kind of friendship that people are blessed to find once in a lifetime. As Freda wrote in one of her cards “Want to know a secret? We’ll always be friends”.

Freda cherished and loved her family…a large family that she truly loved to share.
May the Lord comfort you with all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

I’m very sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I was the UPS Driver in that area and I always remembered the beautiful bright yellow colored house on the block. Mrs. Paper was always very good to me,always offering to take packages for her neighbors and giving me treats and something cold to drink on those Hot days, always very generous. I will miss her. Again my deepest sympathy to your family for the loss of your mother. Take care.
