If you are reading this, I, Gayle Lynn Johnson, obviously lost my fight with cancer.
I was born on January 5, 1956 in St. Paul, MN and attended school in St. Paul. In 1974, I moved to Moorhead to attend college and remained in the Fargo/Moorhead area until my death.
I was employed at various child care/educational programs including Head Start, Nokomis Child Care and HopeKids. My passion was caring for children with special needs and I strove to provide them with quality early childhood education. I was also employed at Aakers (Rasmussen) College and MedData.
My joy was in watching my son’s sports events including soccer, basketball, football, and track. I never missed a game until my health prevented me from attending!
I am survived by my son, James, and my brother, Ken.
Preceded in death by my parents, Ward and Florence, and my brothers, Larry and Doug, and my sister, Patricia.
Please join together for a celebration of my life on March 6, 2020 at 7 PM at Boulger Funeral Home – 123 10th Street South in Fargo, ND. A gathering will be between 6 and 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Roger Maris Cancer Center or Sanford Hospice House.
