George Killoran, 77, Buffalo, North Dakota, passed away at Pioneer House, Fargo on Saturday, February 20, 2010.
George Killoran was born to Patrick and Elizabeth (Laufenberg) Killoran in Buffalo, ND on March 11, 1932. He attended country school in an Ayr Township for his elementary years and then attended Buffalo High School in Buffalo, ND. George then attended St. Catherine’s in Valley City, ND until he had to return home to farm after his brother was injured.
He started farming in 1949 and in 1971 he started an Anhydrous Operation with a close friend and neighbor. He developed a Hardware Hank on main street in Buffalo, ND. Then in 1974 he incorporated a grain operation which became known as Buffalo Farm Supply Inc. In 2003 he retired from farming and enjoyed his winters in Mesa, Arizona.
George has been a lifelong member of St. Thomas Parish, Buffalo, ND, The Fraternal Order of Eagles 2192, Valley City, ND, and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
His favorite thing to do was to pray the Rosary as a family. His hobbies were spending time with his grandchildren and playing cards.
George is survived by his wife, Theresa, Fargo, ND; son, Raymond (JoEllen), Buffalo, ND, and their children Amber Newman, Jennaca (Shaun) Salberg, Jacob (Amber) and Jeana; daughter, Catherine (Wayne) Miller, West Hope, ND and their children, David, Mark (Kathleen); son, Joseph (Lora) Buffalo, ND, and their children, Nicholas (Michelle) Jamie (Jeff) Drugg, Pamela (Curtis) Guss; Son, Dennis (Cristie) Tower City, ND, and their children, Darren (Kim), Danielle (Robert) Foster, David (Alecia); daughter, Mary (Bradley) Kliniske, Buffalo, ND, and their children, Jeremy, Nathanael (Erin), Tyler, and Michael; son, Robert, Buffalo, ND; son, Patrick, West Fargo, ND; son, Ronald (Patti) Casselton, ND, and their children, Katie (Korey) Lorenz, Justin (Caitlin) and Kristin; and one sister, Mary E. Fischer, Valley City, ND; one sister-in-law, Eileen Holmen Killoran, Fargo; 17 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandsons, Jason Miller and Jon Miller; brothers, Owen, Pete, and Francis; and sister, Sister Patrick Marie.

The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Buffalo, ND. There will be a prayer service in the church at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 Tuesday in the church and one hour before the funeral in the Church. Burial will be at the Buffalo Cemetery.
