George L Wright

George L. Wright, 85 of Fargo, died Thursday, December 1, 2005 in Bethany Homes, Fargo. George was born September 24, 1920 in Caledonia, ND. He grew up and farmed with his parents until he married Florence M. Lusso January 7, 1942 in Hillsboro, ND. They farmed for 6 years around Luverne and Hope, ND, where he also enjoyed playing baseball and did until the late 1950?s. They moved to Dilworth, MN in 1950 where he worked at Frolichs Garage as a mechanic. In 1955 he began working for International Harvester, and in 1965 he worked for Berg Fargo Motors Supply. They moved to Fargo in late fall of 1971. He retired from Berg Fargo Motor on September 27, 1985. He loved fishing, hunting, bowling, and traveling, which he and Florence did a lot of when they retired. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Buelah Wright; three sisters, Gladys, Marjorie, and Ilahbelle; one brother, James; two daughters, Glenda Wright and Linda Dalbol; and two grandsons, James and Richard Brown. He is survived by his wife, Florence, Fargo; his sister, Melba Motter, Arizona; his brother, Richard (Mary) Wright, Valley City, ND; his son, Lyle (Cherie) Wright, Moorhead, MN, daughter, Kathy (Gary) Brown, Casper, WY, son, Glen (Connie) Wright, Ramsey, MN, son, Larry (Becky) Wright, West Fargo, ND, and daughter, Becky, (Mike) Millard, Fargo, ND; son-in-law, John Dalbol, Fargo, ND; 19 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.
