Georgia A. Blotsky, 68, Fargo passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at her home due to natural causes after fighting with her health conditions for many years. She was born July 25, 1950 in Anaconda, MT to Casper and Theresa (Olheiser) Marthaller. She attended school in Anaconda before going to work at Warm Springs. She married Leo Blotsky on October 10, 1972. She moved with her family to Beulah, ND where she lived for many years until moving to Fargo in 2008. She loved spending time with her grandchildren who were the world to her. She also enjoyed knitting, playing on her iPad, watching Hallmark channel and working out when she was able to. After being diagnosed with lung cancer in the early 90’s she had her lung removed and was given 5-10 years to live. She lived almost 26 years and even surprised her doctors. She was the definition of a fighter and was the strongest woman that many people had the privilege of knowing. She lived life showing love to anyone she met, putting them first before herself and will be missed by many. She is survived by her son, Leo Blotsky; her daughters Faith Blotsky and Charity (Chad) Lewis; her granddaughters, Brianna and Ariana; sisters, Betty Marthaller and Dorothy Weber; brother, Richard (Linda) Marthaller; her sisters-in-law, Irene Bachmeier, Marlene (Henry) Jaszkowiak, Darlene (Don) Sieler, Betty (Alvin) Kraft, Clara (Dick) Goodmanson, Annette (Curtis) Gehering, Cecelia (Blaine) Tishmack, and Vernetta (Jake) Kraft; her brothers-in-law, Bill (Pat) Blotsky, Charlie (Marla) Blotsky and Jeff Blotsky. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leo in 2010; sisters, Adeline Nadeau, Natalie Peterson, Viola Linghor, Alice Hill; brother, Kenneth Marthaller; brothers-in-law, Gerald Blotsky, David Blotsky, Melvin Blotsky and Ronnie “Ronald” Blotsky.

  6. My Aunt Georgia was a beckon of light to those who knew her. I spent a lot of time with her and my Uncle Leo when I was growing up. She will be missed my so many people who loved her. I love you Aunt Georgia.

  8. I’m so sorry to hear of Georgia’s passing. I know how much she meant to her family . I will never forget how Georgia always had a kind word and a warm smile regardless of how much time may have passed since last seeing her. I have no doubt she will be watching over her loved ones until they can all be together again. Rest In Peace Georgia. You definitely have earned it.
