Gerald "Jerry" Feldt

Jerry passed away on November 22, 2011 at Essentia Health in Fargo.

Gerald E. Feldt was born on July 20, 1939 in Becker County, MN, the son of Edwin and Margaret (Oja) Feldt. Jerry grew up in this area and graduated from Frazee High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1957 until his discharge in 1960. Jerry was united in marriage to Arlene Ziemann on March 11, 1961. Jerry worked for Young's Jobbing in Perham, MN and later moved to Minneapolis. Jerry began working for the Schwan's Company and they moved to Oakes, ND and later to Lake City, FL where he opened the first depot in Florida. The last years, Jerry and Arlene made their home in Fargo where Jerry retired from Schwan's.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Arlene of Fargo; his son, Steven (Paula) Feldt of Savage, MN; his daughter, Sheri (Mark) Rehborg of Burnsville, MN; and his six grandchildren - Connor, Anna and Garrett Feldt; and Brendan, Brianna and Justin Rehborg. Also surviving are his brothers, David Feldt of Wolf Lake, MN; and Kevin (Mona) Feldt of Perham, MN; his sister, Lois (Stanley) Myllykangas of Wolf Lake, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; and his daughter, Joan.
