Gerald Spitzer

Jerry passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017 at Manorcare in Fargo at the age of 76.
Gerald Spitzer was born on January 11, 1941, the son of Oscar and Anne (Schoeler) Spitzer in Fargo, ND. Jerry grew up in Fargo and received his education, graduating from Fargo Center High in 1958. He continued his education at North Dakota State University where he graduated from in 1962.
Jerry is survived by his brother, Fred of Fargo; and his cousins – Sally (Bob) Horner of Grand Forks, ND; Sharon (John) Heinz of Lee’s Summit, MO; and Sandra Sptizer of Kensal, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents.
VISITATION: one hour prior to the service in the funeral home on Saturday
FUNERAL SERVICE: 10 AM Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo
BURIAL: St Mary’s Cemetery in Courtenay, ND

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your dear loved one. Please accept my condolences at this painful time. Losing a loved one is distressing and as comfort is needed from family and friends, we have assurance from the Bible that “death will be swallowed up forever” at Isaiah 25:8. It is my hope your family will find strength to endure during the days ahead.
I’m sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. He was a good friend and I have strong memories of the adventures we shared when we were young.
