Gerold Brunette, 63, Fargo, ND, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016 surrounded by his family and under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley and his loving wife, Gail. Gerold Marcellin Brunette was born July 16, 1952 in Fargo to Marcellin J. and Hazel (Cossette) Brunette. He grew up and graduated school in Kindred before earning an Associate’s degree from Moorhead Tech. He was united in marriage to Gail Patron in May of 1996. Gerold retired in April 2015, from Cass-Clay Creamery after 30 years of employment. He is survived by his wife, Gail; his two sons from his previous marriage to Rosemary Goerger: Christopher (Michelle Deremo); Ryan (Mariah) and their daughter Aria, all of Moorhead; stepchildren: Bethany Herr (Robert Aune), Richfield, MN, JoLene Herr and daughter Jaden, Hutchinson, MN; Angela (Ryan) Shoars and their children: Autumn, Felicity, and Harley, Las Vegas, NV; his sister, Jacqueline (Pete) Heisler; niece, Kimberly (Eric) Ramirez; nephew, Brian Rakowski; great-niece, Katelyn Ramirez, all of West Fargo, ND. Gerold was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Audrey Habisch.
