Gladys M. Hanson, 81 of Fargo, died Sunday, January 15, 2006 in Innovis Hospital, Fargo.
Gladys Marie Hanson was born on November 3, 1924 in East Grand Forks, Minnesota to Charles A. and Emma (Bolton) Hanson. She graduated from high school in East Grand Forks and Aakers Business College in Grand Forks. She married Earl H. Hanson on July 8, 1950 in East Grand Forks. They lived in East Grand Forks where Gladys worked as the Deputy Clerk Treasurer for the City of East Grand Forks for 25 years. They moved to Fargo in 1994 where she spent time enjoying her family and vacationing at the lakes.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Ruby Ulseth, Pearl Ulseth, Edward Hanson; and her grandson, Matthew Hanson.
Gladys is survived by her husband of 55 years, Earl H. Hanson of Fargo; children, Chere Kirchner of Fargo, Charles Hanson of Sioux Falls, SD, Mark Hanson of Sioux Falls, SD, Terri (Steve) Clark of Moorhead, MN; grandchildren, Staci, Christy, Jennifer, Brian, Katie, Kellie; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Harvey (Ann) Hanson of Arizona; brother-in-law, George Ulseth of Fargo; and her precious puppies, Tisha and Angel.
The memorial service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2006 at 2:00 pm in Triumph Lutheran Brethren Church, Moorhead.
