Glen passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at his home near Gardner, ND, surrounded by his family and under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Glen was born on March 18, 1938, the son of Mike and Agatha (Kleinsasser) Olschlager in Bowden, ND. He grew up in this area, received his education and moved to Fargo with his family in 1955. He made his home in the Fargo/West Fargo area for many years where he worked as a carpenter. Glen was united in marriage to LaNeta on July 27, 1990 and they have made their home on the farm near Gardner since that time. The farm home near Gardner was “a dream come” true for Glen. He loved spending his days outside tinkering in the shop and endless hours on his lawnmowers. He truly loved mowing his yard, helping mow at the church, and at any neighbors and friends that he could. He was an excellent carpenter and could build and fix anything. The grandkids will always remember the rides on the “souped-up” golf cart. He was a long time member of Nora Lutheran Church, the Harwood American Legion, and enjoyed his time playing bingo. Glen had a nickname for everyone! Glen is survived by his children - Rick Grossman of Hawaii – and his children - Jessica (Steve) LaPointe, McKenzie Rumley, McKayla Rumley, and Cheyenne Grossman; George Grossman of West Fargo, ND – and his child – Jordan Grossman; Veronica (Ryan) Gunderson of Gardner, ND – and their children – Carla Grossman, Shawnda Gunderson, Samantha Gunderson; and Nick (Dawn) Grossman of Moorhead, MN – and their children – Jade Grossman and Paije Grossman; and his great-grandchildren, Evra, Evan, Ryder, Kyler, and Riley.
