Gloria Mount

Gloria Jean Christiansen Mount died at the age of 67 on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, after a long battle with cancer, at Golden Living Center, Moorhead, MN, surrounded by her family.
Gloria was born on March 17, 1948, to Loyle and Ruth Christiansen in Fargo, ND. She was raised on the family farm near Walcott, ND. She attended the Smith Country School, Walcott Public School and graduated from Kindred High School.
Gloria met her husband, Bart, while working in California. They were married at Zion Methodist Church, Walcott, on October 10, 1987. They resided in the Minneapolis area until Bart’s death in 1993. Gloria then moved to Glyndon, MN, where she lived until entering Golden Living Center.
She is survived by her brothers Rodger (Dallas) Christiansen, Fargo, ND, Robert Christiansen, Sebeka, MN, sister Doris (George) Katseres, Ham Lake, MN, and many nieces and nephews who were her pride and joy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bart Mount, parents Loyle and Ruth Christiansen, brother Darrell Christiansen, sister Myrna Wallace, and nephew Terry Christiansen.

I am so thankful Gloria is at peace now. She was a classy woman who fought her disease until the end. I feel privileged to have known her. Finally on her last day in this world it was shared with her that I was her secret sister who sent her encouraging notes. Now it is up to her angels to surround her with love. Blessed be her memory.
