Grayce Rohman passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2004, at the Hillsboro Medical Center Nursing Home at the age of 91.
Grayce Burd was born on March 5, 1913, at Nielsville, Minnesota, the daughter of George and Eliza (Bjornstad) Burd. She grew up in this area and graduated from Climax High School. On May 4, 1945, she was united in marriage to Wallace Rohman in Bemidji, Minnesota. They made their home near Hillsboro where they farmed for many years, retiring in 1988. Wallace passed away in March of 1995. Grayce was a longtime member of Our Savior?s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro. She entered the Hillsboro Nursing Home under Hospice Care on May 27, 2004.
Grayce is survived by her son, Randall (Irene) Rohman of Keizer, Oregon; and daughter, Julie (Lynn) Foss of Hillsboro, North Dakota; 4 grandchildren, Tyler (Jennifer) Rohman; Kym Rohman; Brian (Amy) Foss; and Matthew Foss. She is also survived by her sister, Nelia Ford of Halstad, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sarah and Belma; and her brother, Jerald.
FUNERAL: 10 AM Saturday, June 5, 2004, at Our Savior?s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro
VISITATION: 5-7 PM Friday at Wildeman Funeral Home in Hillsboro – and one hour prior to the funeral in the church on Saturday
PRAYER SERVICE: 7 PM Friday in the funeral home
BURIAL: Riverside Cemetery in Hillsboro
