Harold H. Wichmann

Harold H. Wichmann, 81, Bismarck, ND formerly of Fargo, ND died Saturday, November 20, 2004 at Missouri Lutheran Care Center, Bismarck, ND. Harold was born September 23, 1923 to Arnold and Emma (Heuer) Wichmann in Fargo, ND. He grew up and attended grade school in the Lynchburg-Durbin, ND area and graduated from Casselton High School, Casselton, ND. Harold entered into the United States Army in July 1944 and served in Japan. Harold was honorably disharged in September 1946. Harold married Dorothy Miller in June 29, 1947 till 1976. Harold worked at Bardwell Robinson in Fargo, ND for 16 years. Harold attended Interstate Business College, Fargo, ND. He then worked various jobs till he retired. Harold enjoyed bowling, traveling and especially hunting and fishing with his son, Charles who past away February 25, 1976. Harold was a past resident of the North Dakota Veteran?s Home in Lisbon, ND till he moved to the Missouri Lutheran Care Center in Bismarck in 2000. Harold is survived by his two daughters, Cynthia (Lou) Hoover, Happy Jack, AZ, Pat (Jerry) Kuntz, Bismarck, ND two grandchildren, and 4 great grand children, Jason & Heidi Kuntz, Brett Hughs, Markie Kuntz, Bismarck, ND, Aaron Kuntz, Bismarck, ND, Sid & Desi Kroh, Plainsfield, IN.,one brother Lester (Louise) Wichmann, Minneapolis, MN and one sister Marion (Wayne) Tesmer. Fargo, ND. Harold is preceded in death by his parents Arnold & Emma, his son Charles, and his brother Kenneth Wichmann. The memorial service will be held the Shepherd of the Prairie Moravian Church, Fargo at 2:00pm, Saturday, November 27. Burial will be at North Dakota Veteran?s Cemetery, Mandan, ND.
