Helene Frances Krueger, daughter of George and Elizabeth Moll Krueger, the surviving twin of identical twin girls was born July 13, 1920 on the family farm near Barnesville, Minnesota. (Noted in the Barnesville Record 07-15-1920: Two girls were born Tuesday morning to Mr. and Mrs. George Krueger. One lived only a short time but the other is getting along nicely). She was baptized at Assumption Catholic Church in Barnesville on August 18,1920. She attended elementary school and was a graduate of Barnesville High School. She met Ted Lepine at a 4-H event on the Krueger farm when he came as guest of her brother Clarence. They were wed on September 23, 1939 at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church, Enderlin, North Dakota. After their marriage the couple lived in Fargo, North Dakota for a short time and during World War II they resided in Bremerton, Washington where Ted worked in the Puget Sound Navy Yards and their daughter Sharon was born. Upon returning to Fargo they lived in the same house at 1521 12th Avenue South from 1945 to 1995 until they moved to their condo on 15th Avenue and 32nd Street South, Fargo. In 1950 they were blessed through adoption their son Steven. For many years they enjoyed their cottage on Sunset Beach, Lake Lizzie, Minnesota. Besides being a business partner in Standard Sheet Metal, she was a homemaker and enjoyed shopping, needlework, fishing, and golf. She entered Villa Maria Nursing Home in September 2003 and passed away on December 28, 2006 from advanced Alzheimer?s. She is survived by, her husband Ted J. Lepine, Fargo, ND; daughter, Sharon and husband Matt Wolf, Fargo, ND; son Steven, Georgetown, MN; grandchildren, Mark & Shanna Wolf, Marshfield, WI, David & Sara Wolf, Brandon, MN, Liz Wolf-Buethner, Fargo, ND, Brett Lepine, Mounds View, MN, and 8 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by, her parents, brothers, Clarence and Edward and their spouses; and grandson Paul Lepine-Berg.
