Henry Burgard
Henry Joseph Burgard came and left this world on April 4th, 2017. While his time here with us was short, his impact will be eternal. The cherished memories from his day on Earth will forever bring great joy to his parents, sister and grandparents. Though our grief is immense, we are grateful for the time we were able to spend with him. We know he waits for us in Heaven where we can one day hold him again. Until then, we will hold in our hearts that which can no longer be held in our arms.
He is survived by his parents, Andrew and Jennifer; proud big sister, Brenna; grandmother, Carol Bontjes; grandparents, Joe and Nancy Burgard; great-grandparents, Henry Bontjes and Thomas and Elizabeth Burgard; and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lowell Bontjes; and great-grandparents, Ruth Bontjes, Gordon and Kathryn Luick, and Francis and Joan Bivins.
A private service for the immediate family will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Fargo this week. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you consider a donation in Henry's honor to Sanford Children's Hospital or an alternate preferred charity.
