Ione "Phyllis" Moen

Ione “Phyllis” Moen passed away peacefully December 17, 2017 at Bethany Retirement Living. Phyllis was born February 1, 1925 in Fargo to Ole and Luella (Borderud) Olsgard. Phyllis graduated from Kindred High School and attended the Interstate Business College. Phyllis spent her time as a homemaker taking care of her two children. Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and always had a pot of coffee brewing. Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Becky (Lee) Mindemann, Bonnie (Greg) Plath; grandchildren, Ryan (Lora) Mindemann, Christopher (Becky) Plath, Reid Mindemann, Sara (Zach) Anderson; great grandchildren, Brandon Mindemann, Jeffery Mindemann, Caiden Anderson, Cylee Anderson, Micah Plath, Alex Mindemann; sister, Lyla Gohdes; and sister-in-laws, Olive Olsgaard and Ruth Kraft. Phyllis is preceded in death by her spouse, James Moen; parents, Ole and Luella Olsgard; brother, Myron Olsgaard; and sister Yvonne Schiffner. Funeral Services will take place at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Norman Lutheran Church, Kindred, North Dakota. Visitation will take place one hour prior to services on Thursday and burial be at Norman Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted with Fredrikson Boulger Funeral Chapel.
