Irene Helen Henjum

Irene Helen Henjum, 87, Fargo, ND died Sunday in ManorCare Health Services, Fargo. Irene Helen Hoenhause was born October 24, 1921 at Becker, MN to Max and Helen (Jaschke) Hoenhause. She attended a country school near Oakes, ND. After her schooling, Irene helped at home. She married Arnold Henjum on November 18, 1946. The couple made their home in Fargo. They moved to Jamestown, where they lived for a couple years. While living there Irene attended Business College. They returned to Fargo and have lived here since. Arnold died in 1983. Irene worked in the Medical Records Department at MeritCare for about 17 years. She moved to the Evergreens in June of 2005. She was a member of First United Methodist. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting. Irene is survived by her sisters: Lucille Wilke, Lewiston, ID and Erma Printz, Lisbon. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arnold; siblings, Charles Hoenhause, Miles Hoenhouse, Madeline Schultz, Maxine Brown, Lorraine Hoenhause and Bernice Backlin. Visitation: Friday one hour before the Funeral at the Church. Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Friday, October 31, 2008 at First United Methodist Church, Fargo, ND. Final Resting Place: Riverside Mausoleum, Fargo, ND
