Irene Sauvageau Fargo, North Dakota Irene passed away on Monday, March 13, 2006, at her home in Bethany Towers at the age of 93. Irene was born on March 12, 1913, the daughter of Zenophile and Marie Louise Sauvageau, in Wild Rice, North Dakota. She grew up in this area and received her education at St. Joseph?s Academy in Wild Rice. She also lived for a short time in Medora, North Dakota, with an aunt. After her education Irene was united in marriage to Napoleon Sauvageau on November 15, 1932, at Wild Rice. They made their home near Horace, North Dakota, where they farmed for many years. In addition to raising her children, Irene also was a foster mother. They moved into Fargo in 1978. Napoleon passed away on November 15, 1982. Irene moved to Bethany Towers. Fargo, ND in December of 1998. Irene is survived by her children, Marjorie (Bob) Jordheim of Brentwood, California; Joanne (LaVoy) Johnson of Lewistown, Montana; Marlene (Dennis )Asleson of Fargo; Gary (Susan) Sauvageau of Fargo; Jacqueline (Michael) Eldevick of West Fargo, North Dakota; Mary Louise (Tom) Schott of Fargo; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. Irene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Napoleon; an infant son, Jerome; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. VISITATION: 4-7 PM Friday, March 17, 2006, at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo ? and also one hour prior to the funeral in the church on Saturday PRAYER SERVICE: 7 PM Friday in the funeral home FUNERAL MASS: 11 AM Saturday, March 18, 2006, at Church of the Nativity (825 South 11 Street in Fargo) BURIAL: St. Benedict?s Cemetery, Wild Rice
