Irma Larson

Irma Larson, age 70, 1602 10th Street N., Fargo, died Tuesday, July 19, 2005 in her home under the care of Hospice. Irma Jane Olson was born October 31, 1934 in Northwood, ND to Rudolph and Irene Olson. She grew up in Northwood and attended high school there. Irma married Gary Larson on November 5, 1955 in Lakota, ND. They lived in Kloten, ND for a short time, then moved to Wahpeton, ND where they lived for 2 years while Gary attended school. They moved to Mankato, MN, then to Minot, ND where Gary worked as a fire fighter for the Air Force. They lived in Minot from 1959-1963. They were transferred to Guam, later returned to Minot where they lived until 1980. They then moved to Kloten where they lived until 1986 when they moved to Fargo. Irma and Gary raised four children and two grandchildren, Lonny and Jamey Mork. Irma enjoyed gardening, cooking and sewing. She is survived by her husband; three children, Rory (Kim), Omaha, NE, Kelly Mork, Barnesville, MN and Jan (Noel) Gehrke, Kloten, ND; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Delphine (Lawrence) Larson, Devils Lake, ND; 1 brother, Roger (Adeline) Olson, Two Harbors, MN. She was preceded in death by her son, Randy in 1989.
