Jake Jameson Magrum died on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 in an automobile accident near Williston, ND. Jake was born on June 5, 1984 in Williston, ND to Michelle and Gregory Magrum. He moved to Fargo when he was seven years old and attended Centennial Elementary, Discovery Jr. High, and South High School. He was a wrestler from the age of five and achieved several state awards was a silver medal winner at the national level, missing the gold by one point. Family meant the world to Jake?especially his children, Ethan and Teagan. They were the joy of his life. He took his role as an older brother very seriously and had Jordan and Andrew?s best interest at heart. He was clever, fun-loving, and had a quick wit. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a natural mechanical ability. Jake was always a hard worker. He was employed in the oil fields on the drilling rigs at the time of his death. He is survived by the love of his life and mother of his children: Amber Faleide; son: Ethan Magrum; daughter: Teagan Magrum, all of Williston, ND; mother: Michelle Boyer, Fargo; father: Gregory Magrum, Williston; brothers: Jordan Magrum, Fargo, ND, Andrew Magrum, UND, Grand Forks, ND; half-sister: Toni Magrum, Williston, ND; grandparents: Harlan and Elaine Boyer, Fargo, Vincent and Eleanor Magrum, Napolean, ND; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and one nephew: Sean Magrum, Williston, ND. He was preceded in death by his aunt and uncle: Sharon and Jeff Strickland and cousin: Alexander Strickland. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 13, 2008 at Hope Lutheran Church, South Campus, Fargo, ND with visitation one hour prior to the service. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, ND with a Prayer Service at 3:00 pm. Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND. Arrangements entrusted to Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, ND.
