Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. This comes as a total shock. Our sincere best wishes go to all the family at this time of loss. We have so many good memories of times spent together over many years and in many locales. Jim’s latest communications were so positive that it is hard to realize that he is gone. We know that the family will miss his presence and wit, but the Good Lord will give them the strength to go forward. May God bless you all.

  2. Darlene and I send our deepest sympathies on loss of our dear friend James. You and Jim never failed to recognize us when ever we crossed paths in Fargo or in Mesa AZ. Naemi our prayers for you and your family during this time. Jim was a proud 4th degree Knights of Columbus and we share many memories may he rest in peace.

    Very nice friendly people.

  4. We are thinking of you all, we enjoyed Jim immensely! Always a smiling face at the lake, he was sure proud and talked lots about all his kids and Grand-kids. Very sorry to hear of this loss.

  5. My memories of my Uncle Jim will always include his warm smile, his compassionate eyes while trying to coax me out from under the bed after I had witnessed the extermination of a ground squirrel from his yard and most of all the laughter behind my back as my pigtails floated in the wind while he chased me pretending to be racing and somehow I always won. He would drive 4 hours to get to my parents home and I was waiting and watching with anticipation for him to open the car door. He would always jump out and I would take off and he would be right behind me. I believe he is the reason I lettered in track. I will miss his warm smile, twinkling eyes and will look forward to racing him again in the future.

  6. My prayers are with you all. Been about 50 some years since I seen Jim, he was my first cousin
My mother and his mother were sister’s. Joanne (Rohrich) Noziska

  13. I’m praying for all of you in your time of loss. Jim was my Godfather. He set the bar high for myself being a Godfather to 3 children. I tried to emulate that. He never forgot a Christmas with a gift for me. Jim was a cool and great guy! Thanks for always remembering me and setting a great example Jim. RIP Jim.

  14. Schmidt Family,

I am truly saddened. Growing up across the street and spending nearly as much time at the Schmidt House as my own, I considered Mr. Schmidt my second father. Of course, Mrs. Schmidt my second mother. My memories of Jim Sr. are numerous and humorous. Much you can only appreciate as you get older and have your own kids.

He will be missed. Heaven just gained another decent whist player and one heck of a storyteller.

    Love you guys,

    Steve

  15. The old days when Jim used to call on Fairway Foods, when he represented Consolidated Freightways, was always a treat to look forward to because Jim always had a story and always was QUIET with his laughter. Toy trucks representing the industry was always in our conversations. The Heratige Club get togethers was always a fun time because Jim was there with his Lady.

  16. Jim was a great guy and our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time of sorrow. I knew Jim through the Knights of Columbus and he will be very much missed. The Bannach Family.

  17. I just learned of Jim’s passing and am totally shocked. Jim loved life and anyone that got to know Jim knew that. He was an awesome person and great neighbor. He was always there to help when needed and he knew just the right words to cheer you up. I am deeply saddened by his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jim’s family. God Bless.

  18. The Venture Out Happy Harpers will feel a void with the loss of our friend Jim. Quick witted and ready to help with all our projects…in addition to playing his harmonica…kept our group light and a fun place to be. He truly did set an example of how to live life well. My deepest sympathy to Naemi and family. He loved you unconditionally.

  19. sorry for your loss jim was a wonderfull person our prayers are with you and your family was always nice visting with you two our hearts go out to your family..
