Janet Pecore

December 23, 1951 - April 06, 2021

Janet Pecore, 69, passed away on April 6, 2021 surrounded by her family at Sanford Health in Fargo.

Janet was born at St. Johns in Fargo, ND on December 23rd, 1951 to Mildred and Sydney Hogfoss.

Janet was raised in Fargo; graduating from Fargo South. She went on to travel, living across the country in California, Oklahoma, and Texas before making her way home to Fargo where she spent the rest of her life.

Janet primarily worked in the food service and restaurant industry. She worked at Pinky’s Pizza in high school, and then at Country Kitchen in Fargo until she retired in 2012. In retirement, Janet enjoyed spending her time relaxing at home, having coffee with friends and family and absorbing as much time as she could with her great-grandchildren. Those closest to her know she was as stubborn as they come, with the biggest heart for the ones she loved.

Janet is survived by her son Corey; her daughter Casey; her grandchildren Christina and Ty; and she prided herself in being great-grandma to her 6 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister Mary; and five brothers: Darryl, Ricky, David, Tommy, and Bobby.

Janet was preceded in death by her mother Mildred Hogfoss; her father Sydney Hogfoss; her sister Diane; and her brothers Danny and Ronnie Hogfoss Sr.
