  4. I knew Janice for a few years now from the Sanford Clinic. Whenever I talked with her on the phone or in person, she always made me smile and laugh. Her personality just meshed so well with mine. She is truly a special person. I am SO glad that I was able to come over to the hospital and see her, joke around with her, and have a couple serious talks with her before she passed. She told me to enjoy my kids and spend as much time with them as I possibly could. I will never forget when I was pregnant with my daughter and I got a package delivered at work from Janice while she was in Texas. She mailed me this beautiful white blanket for my daughter and truly meant the world to me! Janice was a very special person to me and I will miss her everyday! My thoughts and prayers are with Elmer, Jolyn and the rest of your family! I know that she is now at peace and that keeps my mind at ease.

  5. What a shock for me to see my friend, JANICE, ‘S picture in the paper this morning. It sure brought back a ton of memories for me. We lived across the street on 9th avenue most of our life, we played a lot of canasta together and she and Roseanne taught me how to drive after me going up on the boulevard a number of times. we swiped apples from her grandparents apple trees in the fall, but they knew we were doing it. we climbed the coal piles in the winter next to their house and had fun sliding down them. i can even remember what her bedroom looked like. we spent a lot of time on the back porch right off of the kitchen where grandma Chukker was always making something that smelled good.
Yes, those were the good times. Love and Prayers, joyce burns

  6. Jolyn, I remember your mother always seemed so full of spirit. My condolences to you and your family on your loss. Nancy
