Janice Nelson

Janice Lucille Nelson, 66, of Detroit Lakes Minnesota, passed away on October 31st 2020 at Essentia Health in Fargo North Dakota. Janice was born in Oregon to Louis Young and Donnabell Young on September 27th 1954. She lived on the Iron Range for many years before moving to Frazee, MN, where she lived for many years. She then made her home in Detroit Lakes, MN, where she graduated a Chef training course in 1994. She loved her family very much; she loved spending time with her grandchildren, cooking/baking, fishing, animals and traveling. Janice is preceded in death by, Louis Young (father), Donnabell Young (mother), Kevin Young (brother). Janice is survived by, her children, Christina (Brian) Wilkerson of Lawton, Oklahoma . Eric Nelson of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Jason Miller of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Heather (Jose) Valadez of Paso Washington. Corey Miller of Richmond, Washington. Grandchildren; Sarah, Alex, Lillian, Elise, Caleb, Leo, Brayden, Raven Brother, Keith (Anne) Young of Gilbert, Minnesota. Nieces, Alena (Jason) Raida of Virgina, Minnesota and Laura (Ty) Pollak of Moutain Iron, Minnesota.
