Our beloved mother, Jeanette I. Stromme, entered her eternal home on February 1, 2009. Jeanette was born to Ernest and Alma Richard on July 31, 1918 at Riverside Community, rural Wolf Point, Montana. She moved to Fargo in the early 1940?s, then to Portland, Oregon during WWII where she worked as an electrical technician. She married Einar Stromme in Portland, OR in October, 1943. They later returned to Fargo where they made their home. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker. She cherished her home for 58 years and enjoyed numerous family gatherings. She was proud of her volunteer service at the VA Hospital, putting in over 2500 hours. Jeanette had a strong Catholic faith and was a long standing member of St. Anthony?s parish in Fargo. In February 2008 she moved to Edgewood Vista where she had resided until her death. She was preceded in death by her husband; 5 brothers; 1 sister and 2 grandsons, Zachary and Joshua. Jeanette is survived by her 7 children, Mary Stromme of Fargo, Sandy (Tom) Ulmer of Ellendale, ND, Tom (Kari) Stromme of Bismarck, ND, David Stromme of Denver, CO, Brad (Elizabeth) Stromme of Kloten, ND, Jeff (Geneva) Stromme of Overland Park, KS, Joyce (Tedd) Gelderman of Ward, SD; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and a very special niece, Susan Palmeri of Parker, CO. Visitation: Tuesday, February 3 from 5-7 pm at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo and also one hour prior to Mass at the church on Wednesday. Prayer Service: Tuesday at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral Mass: Wednesday, February 4 at 11:00 am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Fargo. Interment: Holy Cross North Cemetery, Fargo. Arrangements entrusted to Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
