Jeanne Christensen

Jeanne Christensen, age, 54, died Thursday, September 11, 2003, in Innovis Health, Fargo. Jeanne Kathryn Dahlgren was born in Wahpeton, ND, on August 11, 1949, the daughter of Charles and Rosemary (Gillis) Dahlgren. She grew up and went to school in Wahpeton, graduating from Wahpeton High School. She attended the State School of Science for two years and studied Liberal Arts. She then attended the University of Wisconsin. She worked in Naperville, IL, in the research library at Standard Oil of Indiana. She was married to Dale Christensen on April 5, 1971 in Wahpeton. They moved to Charleston, N.C., and returned to Osnabrock, ND, in 1974. They moved to Wahpeton for two years and then to Fargo in 1978. They have lived here since. Jeanne was a child care provider, and also worked at the Doublewood Inn and Pallisis Furniture, then Marvin Windows from 1995 until her illness. She is survived by her husband, Dale, Fargo; two daughters, Jessica (Timothy) Liddle, Fargo, and Denise (Corey) Ryberg, Mapleton, ND; and three granddaughters, Mikayla, Tiffany, and Kiara. She is also survived by her mother, Rosemary, Wahpeton; one sister, Betty Krump, Wahpeton; and three brothers, Jay (Cindy), Grand Forks, Robin (Karen), Wahpeton, and Timothy (Heidi), Rochester, MN. She is preceded in death by her father, one sister, and one brother. Funeral Mass will be 12:00 Tuesday in St. Mary?s Cathedral, Fargo. Visitation will be held Monday from 5-8 p.m. in Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, with a prayer service at 8 p.m. Visitation will also be held Tuesday in the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Fargo.
