Jennifer (Thompson) Taralson, went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2018 with family and dear friends with her.

Jennifer was born December 16, 1974 at Mountain Home Air Force Base Idaho to parents Roger and Betty (Klug) Thompson. Jennifer attended Grand Forks Red River High School and Moorhead State University where she majored in anthropology, something she was interested in all her life. She made a trip with other students to Kenya, Africa to study their culture. She was a real estate agent in Fargo and later worked for Peterson Farm Seed, a job she loved. She loved watching NDSU and Minnesota Vikings football. She married Terry Taralson on August 13, 2016 at their home on Tamarack Lake. She was extremely fond of her step grandchildren and nieces and nephew. The outpouring of love from so many people who knew her shows how much she touched the lives of others. She was very outgoing and built relationships with many people in all walks of life. She will be missed.

She is survived by her husband and parents, grandmother, Alma Klug, Fargo, brother, Mark Thompson (Rachel), Fargo, sisters, Laurie Johnston, Grand Forks, Melissa Storey (Ryan), Grand Forks, nephew, Nick Johnston, nieces, Lily Storey and Ella; stepchildren, Erica and Weston, Nick and Brie, Mitch and Kayla; grandchildren, Greyson, Harper, Annabelle, and Laiken, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jennifer is preceded in death by grandparents, Hubert Klug, Theodore and Marion Thompson; aunt, Beverly Freeman and nephew, Aaron Johnston.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, April, 28, 2018, at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center with visitation one hour before the service. To sign the online guestbook, please go to www.boulgerfuneralhome.com.

    I’m so sorry to hear of Jen’s passing. I met Jen while staying at the Walsh Family Village back in December. She was such a friendly person and made my month stay much easier! I’ve thought about her so often since coming home and wondering how she has been. Gone way too soon but she will never be forgotten.
