Jerry Hagen, 66, Fargo, ND passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020 at his home under the care of Hospice. He was born on February 7, 1954 to Milford and Bertha (Knutson) Hagen in Greenbush, MN. The family relocated from Roseau to East Grand Forks, MN when Jerry was young. He attended school in Grand Forks, ND before enlisting in the US Navy in 1971. Jerry served on the USS Juneau off the coast of Vietnam until being honorably discharged in 1974. Following his military service, he returned to Grand Forks where he started his career in the service industry. Jerry was a manager with Chi Chi’s in Grand Forks and St. Paul, MN and Teamsters Local #116 in Fargo. Jerry met Patty McConachie in 1979 in Grand Forks and they were united in marriage on July 20, 1996 in Fargo where the couple made their home. Jerry was an avid fisherman who loved fishing along the Missouri River System and in Devils Lake, ND. He is survived by his wife, Patty; sisters, Mertrice (Kenneth) Anderson and MaryLou (Vince) Liddy; special fur friends, Dobby and Juno; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Eugene Hagen. There will be a memorial service at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 29, 2020 at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center, Fargo with a visitation one hour prior. Interment at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 29, 2020 the Fargo National Veterans Cemetery.

Jerry was a good guy who always had a few jokes under his sleeve while working at chi chi and I seen him also at the teamsters since my dad was a teamster 116 for many many years taken way to soon our condolences to his friends and family and wife what a loss to bad he couldn’t have made it to the reunion.
