Joseph Blakely

Joseph D. Blakely, age 63 of Fargo, died February 28, 2004 in Meritcare Hospital, Fargo. Joseph D. Blakely was born on August 20, 1940 in Fargo to Harry and Elizabeth Blakely. He grew up in Fargo and graduated from Shanley High School in 1958. Joe worked at Shakey?s Pizza from 1969-1972. He also worked at the Yellow Store and Blakely?s Bottles for a number of years and also for FM news for approximately 10 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jack. He is survived by his sister, Jane (Jack) Knowlton of Boise, Idaho and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday at 4:00 pm at the Fargo High Rise, 101 2nd Street South, Fargo. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Fargo. Arrangements with Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
