So sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. Your colleagues here at Alliance Public Schools are praying for strength for you and your family. We are looking forward to your return to your job and wishing you safe travels.

  3. I sat next to Joe for a couple years during his employment with Corelink. His lighthearted discussions on the weather and local events alone made coming into work a joy instead of a chore.

He will be deeply missed by me and many others. My heart goes out to his family.

  4. Fessenden ND
    The Welk Family,
I knew Joe throughout his high school days. We rode the bus together and had a lot of fun. He was a very nice person. His family also went to our church. May God Bless you and your family at this time.

ak.Joe was like a brother to me. He and his brother Daqve always picked me up for school functions. I would never have got to them without the boys. We rode on the schoolbus for an hour every morning and nite together. Played oh so many pinochle games. I think its very sad that he had to go so early but he leaves behind a good legacy he taught you kids very and loved you all so much. God bless you all.Love from the Overby,s

  10. Braselton GAJoe’s journey is complete, while the rest of us travel on together. During Joe’s last five months on this earth were spent reconnecting with his ancestors (one of his first “bucket list” items), and strengthening connections with God, family and friends. With the help of Maryrose and his children, he completed his journey and left us with a remarkable example of a life well-lived.
