joyce jaskowski
Joyce A. Jaskowski, 86, passed away November 18, 2019 at Bethany on 42nd, surrounded by family. Joyce Amaret Guenther was born October 24, 1933 in Jamestown, ND to George and Ruth (Giltner) Guenther. Joyce attended high school in Jamestown, ND. On June 14, 1952, she married Jerome Jaskowski in Fried, ND. Joyce worked at Norwest (Wells Fargo) Bank and retired 1993. Joyce was described as spunky, sassy and classy and we always said she “didn’t let any grass grow under her feet.” She loved to play cards, bingo, and pull tabs. She was an avid bowler and made many trips to the casino. More than anything, she loved her family. She was a wonderful mom and grandmother! Joyce is survived by her four children, Linda (Michael) Neppl of Fargo, Dan (Melissa) of Wahpeton, Tom of Bismarck, Tim of Fargo; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brother, Garold (Mary) Guenther; and numerous nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome; parents; sister Phyllis Robertson and Beverly Schuff; and step brother, Bill Haynes. The family would like to thank Ethos Hospice and the staff at Bethany on 42nd for the care of their mom.
