  2. Thank you for all the great meals, and i’m pretty sure the recipe cards have just now gotten back to where they came from. I mourn the loss of your goodness, kindness and love for your family.

  3. I will remember Judy’s warm, loving smile and her brilliant sense of style! The last time we saw her was at the most magnificent and touching celebration of Lem’s 90th birthday. Laughing and amazing food were in abundance! Her legacy of love lives on in her family!

  4. Steve just called and told me of Judy’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you during these difficult times. You are such a strong family that I know you will give LeMar the love and support he will need. Judy was a wonderful lady and will be missed by many. God’s speed LeMar, Patti, Mike, Debbie and Darcy.

  5. She was one of my best friends and biggest cheerleader in life. I will miss our weekly talks, her lovely hand-written letters and awesome hugs! You and Grandpa had a life and marriage that was inspirational in every way. Love you so much, Grandma Judy, and hope you have already begun your next beautiful garden up there in Heaven! 🤍🌿✨

  6. I was blessed to work with Judy & LeMar at Baker Nursery for many years. Judy & LeMar enjoyed working with plants, and the social aspect of Baker Nursery. I remember her for all her delicious desserts she brought from home to share with the crew, her interest in people, and love for her family. She was a great friend to me.

  7. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Cherish your memories and she will always be in your heart.
Love and prayers for your whole family.

  10. What an amazing legacy Judy and Lemar created with their large and close knit family. Truly all are remarkably strong, kind and incredibly hard workers. Sending Lemar and the entire family our heartfelt condolences for your loss. May you find peace in knowing she is at home and no longer in pain (and evidently sprucing up the garden in Heaven)! With love,

  11. LeMar, I’m so sorry for your loss. I worked at Baker Nursery with both Judy and LeMar. Working with Judy was always fun because she smiled and laughed and didn’t miss a beat when we were planting. She was 20 years older than me and I realized that if she could keep up that well with everyone younger then I could do the same when I was 20 years older. She was an inspiration and a delight to know. I’m sorry I can’t be there to give LeMar a much deserved hug at the funeral but know I’m thinking of you. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. God bless~~~

  12. I will cherish so many wonderful memories of Grandma Judy, she was such a loving and amazing Grandmother. I can still smell the fresh dill in her garden like it was yesterday. I loved making fresh cinnamon and dinner rolls with Grandma. I remember so many funny times with Grandma like the time I fell through the barn into the pig “stuff” and after I caught my breath Grandma said there’s no way I’m coming in the house before she hosed me down. I will miss playing cards with Grandma and Grandpa, and I still don’t think I ever learned how to play hand and foot. She had so many talents and made me feel very loved. I will miss her so much.

  13. I have so many fond memories of Judy, especially in my teen years in Walcott. I hope she has found a world without pain and 24/7 gardening. I know that she will be missed by many close to her and from far away. Garden in peace Judy!

  14. Lem and family, I am so sorry to hear of Judy’s passing. I loved her smile. Her whole face lit up. You couldn’t help but smile or laugh with her. Hugs to all of you.

  15. Always a huge smile and a little tease every time I saw her. I was always welcome as a friend as everyone was with Judy. Our condolences and thoughts and prayers for a great family. Peace….

  16. Working with Judy at Baker Nursery Gardens was always a joy. She was North Dakota Tough…with a work ethic to match. She gave special attention to each customer that she was helping, as she did to all of her friends. She and LeMar were a great team….she will be missed greatly. Hugs to LeMar, and all of the family

  17. I have great memories of Judy and would see her often at family gatherings, but also at Bakers and the grocery store. My most heartfelt condolences to all of you at this time. My dad and I would most certainly be at the service if we were able to, but that is impossible with the restrictions.Having lost my mom in August I can relate to your loss. Judy was a lovely lady and had a great fashion sense! God bless you all.

  18. Dear Deb and family, sending my deepest condolences and prayers. May you all find peace and comfort in your loving memories and in the image of her making Heaven even more beautiful with her gift of gardening.

  19. Lem and family, We as so sorry to hear of Judy’s passing. We can’t even begin to tell you how wonderful it was to have Lem and Judy as our neighbors for so many years. They had this beautiful Flowering Crab Tree in their yard and the girls always loved to take pictures in front of it. Judy would always let the girls come over to look at her beautiful flowers. We were so sad when Lem and Judy moved. Thank you for so many wonderful memories that we will cherish forever.
    Love

  21. Thank you so much for sharing the service video. I have such fond memories of going for “coffee” at Aunt Judy’s and hanging out with my Mom and Grandma Esther. The sisters had so many things in common, including their love of gardening and piano. It must be a Heglie thing. I specifically remember how Judy had a gift of hospitality for which she naturally made even the kids who were drug along places feel special and included. She had such a wonderful and genuine smile, so full of energy and love of life. I so wish my family could have come in person, but know that we are here in heart.

  22. LeMar and Family,

I met Judy when I was 16 years old when we worked together at Baker Nursery. My Dad and my brother both worked along side Judy and LeMar as well. I said to my Dad one day “how old are they? They don’t quit!” He said “I know, two of the hardest working people I know!” Not only did I work with her, she and LeMar became friends of my family. They came to my high school graduation party as well as my wedding. The old Baker crew would get together ever few months and my Dad would always report back on how they were doing. I’ll remember Judy for her hard work, but most importantly her sweet demeanor and how kind she was to me. My thoughts and prayers to LeMar and family.

  23. Judy was a great woman, I always enjoyed chatting and listening to her stories. A lot of those stories were about the farm so I could relate to them. She enjoyed a long happy and productive life and loved her family very much. My condolences to LeMar and all of the Larson family.

  24. In this “New Normal” world , it was special to share Judy’s service with your family. I’m hoping I can get someone

at Cordy’s Bethany to get her a laptop so she can view the service. Many years of memories as neighbors and

friends to the Farsdales. R.I.P. Judy—-you will be missed.

  25. Dear Lem and family,
Judy will be missed by so many people. She always had a smile for everyone and I loved her sweet, gentle way. We so enjoyed all the wonderful photos of her and your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all!

  26. Judy was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I will truly miss her wonderful smile and our conversations when she came into the salon to get her hair done.
I always enjoyed when Lemar would drop her off for her appointments and he would help her in and out of the salon. They were so adorable together and I would always tell my co-workers “They are so cute!”
    She will truly be missed.

  27. Judy and LeMar were my neighbors. When I was a little girl, I would always go over to their house. The first thing Judy would ask me was, “Want some cheese and crackers?” I always responded with yes, of course. I will miss her deeply.

  28. My grandma is Oryce Carson who was a long time friend of Judys. I took piano lessons from Judy for a few years. I always enjoyed the treat she would have waiting when I got off the bus. She was such a special lady! I enjoyed my time with her. She will be missed.

  29. Lamar and family,

I am sorry for your loss. Judy was so sweet, and kind. She was a doting grandmother, loved playing the piano, and was so caring of others. We were lucky to have her teach us piano and she was so patient with us. My condolences to you and your family at this time.
