Julius C. Ambe, age 32, University Village, Fargo, died in the early hours of Tuesday, December 14, 2004, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, barely seven months after arriving in the United States.
Julius was born on July 7, 1972, in Bafut – Cameroon in West Africa. Julius was a holder of a BS and MS from the University of Buea – Cameroon. Prior to coming to the United States, Julius was a researcher and lecturer at the University of Buea – Cameroon for four years. He was admitted into the Food Safety PhD Program at North Dakota State University in the summer of 2004.
He leaves behind many family members to mourn him, including his mother and eight siblings, all of Cameroon.
A rosary followed by a wake service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Paul?s Newman Center, Fargo. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Cameroon.
