June Plante, 79, Fargo passed away Friday, August 16, 2019 at Villa Maria Nursing Home, Fargo with her family be her side. June Ellen Plante was born on July 7, 1940 in Fargo to Leo and Grace (Langseth) Copus. She lived in Fargo with her family until they moved to rural Moorhead where she grew up. June lived in Nebraska for a short time before returning to Fargo. June Copus and Albert Edward (Eddy) Plante were married in Moorhead, MN on August 23, 1957. June worked for Freddie’s Lefse before working at GPK Industries where she worked for 17 years. She had a deep love for all animals and will be missed by those she leaves behind. She is survived by her children; Bonnie Kaiser, Omaha, NE, Jeffrey Plante, Fargo, ND, Cheryl Plante, Fargo, ND, Pamella Plummer, Fargo, ND, Timothy Braaten, Fargo, ND; siblings, Barbara Braaten, rural Moorhead, MN, Patsy (Jack) Jacobson, Fargo, ND, Linda Lindberg, Fargo, ND, Lloyd “Butch” (Trudy) Rehn Jr., Felton, MN, Brian (Kathy) Rehn, Felton, MN; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. June was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward in 1996, son, Edward Jr., and son-in-law, Wesley Kaiser. Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Boulger Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, Fargo with visitation starting at 9:00 A.M.

  4. So glad our family got to meet your mom, she made our mother Marie’s days at the Villa Maria much easier to endure. She enjoyed the talks and phone calls, she always hoped I would have time to bring her to see June for a short visit and so happy to see her when she returned this summer. I know they will both be missed by us but we really didn’t want to have them suffer any longer as they were. We know they are much better off now. Missing them both!
