June Starry

June E. Starry, 84 of Fargo, died Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at her home. June was born on October 11, 1925 in St. Paul, MN to Orville and Theresa (Schultz) Lenguedoc. She grew up in Long Prairie, MN where she graduated from high school. She married Harvey Starry on February 15, 1948 in Long Prairie. The family lived in Minneapolis, MN, South Dakota, Mandan, ND, Garrison, ND, Aurora, MN and moved to Sandstone, MN in 1958. June has lived in Fargo and wintered in Arizona since 1990. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey and brother, Bob Lenguedoc. June is survived by her sons, Brad (Mary Kay) Starry of Fargo and Brian (Lora) Starry of Escondido, CA; 5 grandchildren, Angela, Nicole, Bridget, Brian, Jr., Erica; 1 great-granddaughter, Kassidy and by her half-sister, Shirley (Clarence) Howe of Backus, MN. Visitation: Sunday, January 17 from 4:30-5:30 pm at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Fargo and also one hour prior to the funeral on Monday. Rosary and Prayer Service: Sunday at 5:30 pm at the church. Funeral Mass: Monday, January 18 at 12:00 noon at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Fargo. Interment: Holy Cross North Cemetery, Fargo. Arrangements entrusted to Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
