Katherin “Kathy” Ann Danielson, 59, passed away on December 25, 2016 under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Kathy was born on April 2, 1957 in Alexandria, Minnesota to Jerome and LaVonne (Nordquist) Larson.  She was one of four children.  Kathy’s dad was in the Army, so as a child she lived in many different states and countries.  After she attended 1st grade elementary school in Germany, her family moved back to the states.  Kathy graduated from Dilworth High School in 1975. On December 11, 1976, Kathy married David Kenneth Danielson.  They were blessed with a son in 1979.  They made their home in Barnesville, Minnesota.  In addition to raising their son, Kathy also worked at various banks and insurance companies throughout her career.  She spent the last few years being a housewife.  When her dialysis would make her tired, she could always count on her six sisters-in-law to be there to help her with various things around the house.  Kathy said many times how blessed she was to have them in her life, no matter what time, day or night, they were always there for her.  Kathy enjoyed taking care of her dogs, fishing, camping, listening to music, and helping David out in his shop.  She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, and friend.  She will truly be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She is survived by her husband, son Kenny (Lori) Danielson, brothers Steve (Val) Larson, Hunt Larson, brothers-in-law Keith (Carol) Danielson, DuWayne (Jean) Danielson, sisters-in-law Sandra (Dan) Bolgrean, Anna (Roger) Fischer, Betty (the late Dick) Sorenson, Kathleen (Dave) Berg, Linda (Richard) Berg, and Diane (John) Pfiefer), and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Michael Larson, brother-in-law Danny Danielson, and nephew RJ Martin.
