Kathleen ?Kathy? Ann Bernstein, 74 of Fargo died Friday, May 2, 2008 at Elim Care Center in Fargo. Kathleen Ann Davidson was born to George and Agnes (Kiely) Davidson on June 2, 1933 in Austin, MN. She graduated from Minneota High School in 1951 and worked for Archer Daniel?s Midland Corporation. She married LeRoy Bernstein on November 6, 1954 at St. Edward?s Church in Minneota, MN. She worked for Coast to Coast headquarters in Minneapolis, MN for a time after their marriage in June 1965 and then became a stay at home mom. The family moved to Fargo, ND where Kathleen worked for the North Dakota State University Business Office and Financial Aid Office. She then did books for Valley Movers. In the late 80?s to mid 90?s she worked as Coordinator between U.S. and Canada for students traveling to Central America and Mexico through Intercombio. Hobbies include embroidery, travel, taking care of the over three dozen foreign students who have stayed with them over the years, helping her husband with his campaigning, and time spent with her pet dog, ?Abby?. She is survived by her husband, LeRoy; children, Mark Bernstein (Ginger Meyer) Fargo, ND, Michelle Bernstein, Fargo, ND, Kimberly Barstad, Hamburg, MN, Timothy Bernstein (Cindy), Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Teresa, Tiffaney, Natalie, and Tabitha Meyer, Kylee, Connor and Christina Barstad, Thomas and Andrew Bernstein; two great grandchildren, Jasmine and Javon Meyer; siblings, Ronald (Chris) Davidson, Garrison, MN, and Marilyn (Dennis) Stienessen, Willmar, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Agnes and George Davidson. Visitation: Sunday, May 4 from 5-7 pm at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo and one hour prior to Mass in the church on Monday. Prayer Service: Sunday at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral Mass: Monday, May 5 at 2:00 pm at Church of the Holy Spirit, Fargo. Interment: Holy Cross North Cemetery, Fargo. Arrangements entrusted to Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
