KENNETH C. BISSEL Kenneth Charles Bissel, age 66, of Fargo, ND was called to his heavenly home on January 19, 2006. Kenneth died peacefully at Innovis Health, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Fargo on July 16, 1939. He was a 1957 graduate of Fargo Central High School, and then attended Dakota Business College. He later attended North Dakota State University, graduating with honors. He was a long-term member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He worked in real estate and continued to maintain a ND real estate brokerage license. Throughout his working years in the Fargo-Moorhead area, Kenneth worked at several positions, including business management at Cummins Diesel. He served as Tax Manager for American Crystal Sugar Company from 1974-1995. He was forced to end his active career in late 1995 due to medical complications. \ Kenneth served actively in the U.S. Army during a 1963-1965 period, and also served with the N.D. Air National Guard in the following years. He was a member of the American Legion. His loyalty, humor, and strength of character will be greatly missed. He cherished time with his family, gardening, pets, and keeping current with news and events. He was a Bison fan. Kenneth was united in marriage to Shirley Ann Ibach on August 24, 1968. They continued to make Fargo their home since. He is survived by his wife Shirley; two sons: Ryan and Greg, both of Fargo; one sister: Joanne (Gary) Stuhr of Fargo; one brother: Charles (Dorine) of Apple Valley, MN; several nieces and nephews. His parents and a sister, Irene Bissel, preceded Kenneth in death.
