Kevin Dux

Kevin E. Dux, age 48 of Detroit Lakes, MN, died Saturday, March 3, 2007 in St. Mary?s Hospital, Detroit Lakes. Kevin was born on June 26, 1958 in Fargo to Marvin and Sharon (Thiessen) Dux. He graduated from high school in Lake Park, MN. After high school he went to work with his father and uncle at Dux Sand and Gravel in Hillsboro and also worked for Skogen Construction for his boss and dear friend, Clayton. He married Sandy Carlson on June 27, 1981 in Warren, MN. Kevin loved the Lord his entire life. He had a wonderful sense of humor and had the best laugh. Kevin enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, feeding his birds, watching the 3 Stooges and Gumbi, and sitting around a campfire. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin and granddaughter, Lily. Kevin is survived by his wife, Sandy of Detroit Lakes; children, Ronda of Bismarck, ND, Peter of Detroit Lakes, Sara (future son-in-law, Dan Dockter) of Wahpeton, ND; his mother, Sharon of Apache Junction, AZ; siblings, Kim (Bill) LaFleur of Gold Canyon, AZ, Kyle (Jacqie) of Dent, MN, Kurtis (Tracy) of Fargo; his beloved nieces and nephews and his dog, Dutchess. Memorials are preferred to American Diabetes Association. Memorial Service: Wednesday, March 7 at 10:00 am at Faith Lutheran Church, West Fargo. Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.
