We got to know Kim in 1996 when we first arrived at the SDA church in St. Cloud. Kim was an amazing human being. Despite the challenges he dealt with, he faced every day as a gift from God and he embraced every moment of that gift. The twinkle in his eye was something special we will not soon forget. He adored our daughters Marleigh and Kaitlyn and was always interested in what was going on in their lives. While we haven’t been in contact continuously over the past few years, Kim still holds a special place in our hearts. We look forward to meeting him again in heaven where he will be free from the chair. There is no question God truly lived in his heart. Rest now, Kim. We’ll see you in the morning!

I am shocked and my heart is broken. I went to call him just now and found that his phone was discounted… I am so so sorry.
As a quadriplegic, and a fellow believer in our Lord Jesus Christ, I rejoice that Kim’s journey is finally over that he’s finally whole, made anew, and standing in the presence of His Savior.
I am really looking forward to walking with Kim on the streets of gold.

Cold Spring MnI am so sad to hear of Kim’s passing. He was a good friend of mine for 25 years and I will miss our conversations. Surprisingly, he always felt he was blessed and had nothing to complain about. Even after 41 years in a wheelchair and numerous health issues he always had a welcoming smile on his face. His attitude was an example for all of us to follow. God truly had a plan for his life and he fulfilled it magnificently. He was one of a kind and I will always miss him. May God bless his two remarkable sisters Julie and Pam and all of the Rodacker family.
My husband and I were friends with Kim while he was at Southwest State in Marshall. We have thought if Kim often. Tonight he came to mind and I thought I would google his name and my heart is breaking to find he passed away. Kim was such a kind soul. We had him and Mark over for dinner many times as we lived down the street from them. We have such wonderful memories of snow times, out at the lake and just hanging out at home. I am sorry for your loss. My husband and I are believers and we look forward to seeing Kim again and this time we’ll run to meet each other.
